US Housing Report is a publishing site. You do not need an account to read it, we do not run a newsletter or comment system, and we do not sell personal data. This page explains the small amount of data that is processed when you visit.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which articles are read and how visitors arrive. IP addresses are anonymised, and the data is aggregated; we do not use it to identify individuals. Google's processing is governed by its own privacy policy. You can block analytics with a content blocker or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Cookies

The public site does not set cookies of its own. Google Analytics sets its usual first-party cookies to distinguish sessions. A session cookie is used only by staff signing in to the editorial admin area.

Server logs

Like almost every website, our hosting infrastructure keeps short-lived access logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested) for security and debugging. Logs are rotated automatically and are not used for profiling.

Links to other sites

We link to public data sources and other publishers. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

Your rights and contact

Because we hold no account data, there is normally nothing to export or delete. If you have a question about this policy, contact us.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the site evolves; the current version is always published at this address.
